About The Role

Our blog, Caviar Spotlight, was launched to establish Caviar as the premium food authority, and in doing so, to further drive consideration of our platform by inspiring premium food consumers and enabling discovery. We need to establish a cohesive visual aesthetic that furthers those goals. The freelance photo researcher will own sourcing and editing photos for all content on the site (~20 articles/month), and work with our in-house creative studio to establish our visual playbook for the site.

This is a freelance position and we are looking for someone who can work 20 hours/week.

• You are excited about how visuals can service brand positioning and storytelling

• You care about both the art and science of your work, and understand how the visuals you choose can further our business goals.

We’re Excited About You Because

• You have 3+ years of experience sourcing, selecting and editing photos for a lifestyle publication or brand

• You are a whiz at Photoshop

• You’re familiar with a variety of resources for sourcing photos and can think outside the box!

• You understand how visuals can best work across platforms, and will keep your finger on the pulse of our social and influencer work (which we will embed in some of the content when appropriate).

• Bonus points if you have some design skills and create photo illustrations!
