Personal Assistant to Managing Director / CEO of VC firm


As a personal assistant (PA), you will work closely with the Managing Director (CEO) of the VC firm and will provide support, usually on a one-to-one basis, both in-person and virtually. You will help the CEO make the most out of their time by dealing with secretarial tasks or any tasks requested.


The list of duties and responsibilities of a Personal Assistant is quite large and can change depending on an employer’s needs.


Therefore, a portion of your position may require you to be on your feet.


Duties & Responsibilities


Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  • Monitoring the CEO's calendar, emails and appointment scheduling

  • Booking and arranging travel, transportation and accommodation

  • Managing construction or remodeling projects

  • Household management including scheduling and supervising staff

  • Household shopping and stocking

  • Managing vehicles, vessels, etc

  • Anticipating needs and developing standard procedures

  • Shopping, tracking orders and making returns

  • Scheduling personal appointments

  • Conducting research



  • Taking responsibility of accounts and budgets

  • Sending concise reports highlighting any urgent matter that requires immediate response or attention

  • Various ad hoc requests


Skills & Qualifications Required:



  • A minimum of 2 years of personal assistant experience is strongly preferred

  • College diploma or a degree preferred

  • The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Basic computer and internet skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Attention to detail

  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage a range of different tasks


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
