We need an organized individual, a team player, and someone who has excellent interpersonal skills. This is a remote position; however, the case manager will have frequent phone contact with clients and will interact remotely with colleagues on a regular basis. If you are results-oriented, professional, and eager to our clients through the process of obtaining benefits due them, we urge you to apply.

Who are we?

When clients choose Jackson & MacNichol, they choose a team of skilled, experienced and dedicated Social Security disability and veterans’ benefits attorneys, case managers, paralegals, and staff members. We are committed to delivering professional and compassionate legal advice and representation. As a result of our expertise and our unwavering devotion to client service, we have earned a reputation as a leading disability benefits law firm.

What is the job?

A Case Manager shepherds cases of those who are seeking assistance in obtaining benefits, be it with the Social Security Administration. This full-time position requires excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be required to maintain good contact with both the client and with the attorneys handling each case. You must make sure that deadlines set by the VA or by the Social Security

Administration are met by the team; you must create letters and draft appeals notices for review and signature by the attorney for a case. You must work well with a team of intake personnel, attorneys, interns, and other staff to meet set team goals and to help all team members accomplish their given tasks.

What are the qualifications for the job?

A case manager handles a lot of client calls, so good phone skills are a must, and to that end, the ability to prioritize is critical.
