Grain and Livestock farm help - Elkhart, IL 62634

Crop and livestock farm looking to add to our team for the fall run. Guaranteed employment from September 1 - December 1 with a bonus if you’re here the whole time.


Duties would include but not be limited to:


-farm machinery operation in harvest and fall nitrogen/ fertilizer setting. Newer John Deere equipment.


-maintenance and cleaning of farmsteads and equipment


-assisting with filling and emptying grain storage


-possibly assisting with daily chores in commercial hog operation


-farm experience is preferred but not required. The ability and willingness to learn will have preference. Working responsibly and unsupervised with commitment to completing tasks without instruction are preferred.


-pay is negotiable based on experience.


Job Types: Full-time, Temporary


Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour


Schedule:



  • 10 hour shift

  • Weekend availability
